On the main road from Sri Chiang Mai to Pak Chom is a left turn to a lovely quiet valley and waterfall.
There is a well surfaced road and a large car-park with some stalls which I imagine have food and souvenirs at weekends, but are empty on normal weekday mornings.
The path from the car park is tarmaced and clear of foliage so it is easy to get to a good vantage point.
