Travelling on the main road towards the Prasat Khao Phra Wiharn National Park from Si Sa Ket one of the blue 'Place of Interest' signs carries the name 'Narmtok Phu La Oh'. Turn right and several kilometres up the road is a parking space with food, drink and souvenir stalls.
There are several English speaking stall owners there too.
A kilometre down a steep path in the forest one comes upon the waterfall with its pool at the base. Many Thai families picnic and swim there. Even with the adults and children enjoying themselves it is a peaceful place to visit.
It is well worth the long climb back to the car, but on the hottest days perhaps 10 minutes in the car enjoying the air-con, whilst drinking an ice-cold Coke is not a bad idea before driving off.
